How Do I Sync Sensitive HubSpot Fields Using Segment Reverse ETL?

Question

Can sensitive properties in HubSpot be synced using Segment Reverse ETL, and is this feature enabled by default? Is there documentation or a list of allowed fields, and how can I test this functionality?

Product

Segment Destinations

Environment

Segment Console

Answer

Sensitive properties in HubSpot can be synced using Segment Reverse ETL to the HubSpot (Actions) destination. This feature is enabled by default for all HubSpot (Actions) destinations. To send sensitive properties, use the Custom Object v2 Action. Documentation is available for this action, but there is no specific list of allowed fields; sensitive fields are recognized and handled by HubSpot. For testing, customize mappings, enable the mapping, and monitor sync logs for errors or warnings. Manual syncs can be triggered to validate the sync of sensitive properties.
