The Segment Mixpanel destination uses Mixpanel’s Import Events API, which requires only the Project Token for authentication. After Mixpanel deprecates the Project Secret, you can continue sending events to Mixpanel using just the Project Token, which is mandatory to set up the destination in the first place. No additional changes are needed unless Mixpanel updates their requirements specifically for Import Events API.
