Issue
When configuring destination mappings in Segment, users may need to trigger conversion events based on complex logic, such as requiring an event to fire when either gclid, gbraid, or wbraid exists. The current mapping UI only supports a single global ALL (AND) or ANY (OR) condition set, and does not allow for nested or grouped AND/OR logic.

Environment

Cause
The Segment destination mapping UI does not currently support nested or grouped AND/OR logic. Only a single set of ALL (AND) or ANY (OR) conditions can be applied globally to a mapping rule.
Resolution
- Preprocess events at the source (before they reach Segment) to add an auxiliary custom property (e.g.,
has_google_click_id) that is set to true if any of the identifiers (gclid, gbraid, orwbraid) exist. Use this property in your mapping conditions. - Alternatively, create separate mappings for each identifier, each using the ALL condition set and checking for the relevant identifier or make use of destination filters in addition to mappings.
