When you block a trait in your Segment Connections Source schema, Segment filters out and drops that trait at the source ingestion level. Because the trait is filtered at the source, it is not passed to downstream integrations or included in your Segment Unify profiles.
This filtering behavior also applies during a data replay. Any trait configured as blocked in your source schema will be excluded when replaying historical data into your Unify profiles.
