Segment stores consent preferences as traits on the Profile. These consent traits function like any other profile trait they are updated, stored, and materialized in the same way as other traits. As a result, consent preferences should appear in the materialized profile views (such as the profile_traits table in your warehouse destination) alongside other profile attributes.

Storing consent preferences on a Unify Profile is in public beta and some functionality may change before general availability.
