Enable API-Based Management of Destination Subscriptions in Segment

Objective

This article explains how to enable and use API-based management for Destination Subscriptions (mappings) in Segment. This allows users to manage their destination mappings programmatically through the Segment Public API instead of the user interface.

Procedure 

  1. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to manage workspace features in Segment.
  2. If the Destination Subscriptions feature is not enabled for your workspace, reach out to Segment Support to request enablement.
  3. Once enabled, use the Segment Public API to create, update, or delete Destination Subscriptions (mappings) for your destinations.
  4. Refer to the Segment Public API documentation for endpoints and usage details related to Destination Subscriptions.
