Segment stores blocked events for 30 days in a separate bucket. Blocked events can be replayed to streaming destinations such as Customer.io and MixPanel. However, blocked events cannot be backfilled or replayed to warehouse destinations. Once events are blocked from delivery to a warehouse, they cannot be retroactively sent, even if they are still within the 30-day retention period.
