Issue
You might notice that it seems possible to connect only a single data warehouse to the Profiles Sync area of your Unify space. When trying to add an additional warehouse, such as a second Snowflake or BigQuery instance, to the same Unify space, the Segment user interface does not provide an option or button to establish this secondary connection.

Cause
The Segment platform currently supports connecting only one data warehouse destination per Unify space for Profiles Sync. Adding multiple warehouses to a single Unify space is not a standard or supported configuration in order to ensure data pipeline stability and reliable performance.
Resolution
To achieve the exact same outcome and sync your identity-resolved profile data to an additional warehouse, you can set up a parallel space.
Follow these steps to configure a new space for your second warehouse:
- Navigate to your Segment workspace and create a new Unify space.
- Attach the exact same data sources that you currently have connected to your original Unify space to ensure data parity across both environments.
- Connect your additional data warehouse to this newly created space.
Additional Information
Once the setup is complete and live data begins flowing into the new space, Profiles Sync will automatically initiate a historical backfill to populate your new warehouse. Ensure that your Identity Resolution rules in the new space match your original space to maintain consistency across your data warehouses.
