Unexpected "Page Viewed" Event Names in Segment Unify

Question

In Unify, the Page Viewed events appear with an unexpected naming convention, such as Viewed "pageViewed" Page instead of Page Viewed. Additionally, the event type displays as a track event instead of a page event. How do they get this type and naming convention?

Answer

Unify converts page calls into "Page Viewed" track events when they are ingested into Unify. Those events will display in the User Explorer, "Viewed Page."  If they key name or properties.name was added to the payload, then the Page Viewed event will display in Unify as Viewed "<name>" Page.
