Why is there a large number of MTUs showing under "All other Sources" on the MTU Over Time graph?

Question

Why does the "All other Sources" category on the MTU Over Time graph on the Usage & Billing page show a large number of MTUs? I can't identify which Source they belong to.

Answer

The MTU Over Time graph on the Usage & Billing page displays the top 8 Sources with the highest MTU volumes for the selected billing period. To keep the graph readable, all remaining Sources are grouped together under "All other Sources." This means that MTUs attributed to any Source outside of the top eight will be combined into this category.

If you delete a Source during the current billing period, any MTUs that were already tracked by that Source will continue to count toward your MTU usage for the remainder of the billing month.

Although the Source has been deleted, its historical MTUs are still included in your usage and are displayed under "All other Sources" on the Usage & Billing page.

For example:

  • A Source tracks 20,000 MTUs between July 1 and July 10.
  • The Source is deleted on July 10.
  • Those 20,000 MTUs will continue to contribute to your July MTU usage.
  • Since the Source no longer exists, its historical MTUs are grouped under "All other Sources" rather than being listed individually.

At the start of the next billing period, the deleted Source will no longer contribute any additional MTUs.
