How to replay historical Segment data to Engage

Question

How can I replay historical data from a Segment source to an Engage space to fill gaps in user profiles or event tables?

Answer

To replay historical data from a Segment source to an Engage space, a manual Replay must be initiated by our support team. This process loads historical events from the source archive into Engage, making them available for profile enrichment and downstream computations. Only data present in Engage can be exported to destinations such as warehouses using Profile Sync. If a source was connected to Engage after the events occurred, only the last 30 days are automatically ingested; older data requires a Replay.

If you need a historical data replay into your Unify space, please reach out to our support team.

Additional Information

Replaying data from source to engage space may trigger computations such as audiences or journeys, which can send signals to connected destinations. To avoid unintended sends, pause or disconnect downstream destinations during the replay window.
