Issue
You are seeing a Google Ads warning that primary conversion tracking could be blocked from June 15, 2026, if the transition to the Data Manager API is not completed. You may be concerned about impacts to your Smart Bidding, reporting, or spend efficiency, and you cannot find "Google Ads (Classic)" in the destination catalog to make the update.

Environment
Segment Console
Cause
Google is restricting offline conversion imports and transitioning to the Data Manager API, which triggers this warning, though it primarily affects new adopters or inactive accounts.
Resolution
- Continue running your campaigns as normal, as there will be no disruption to your current tracking, conversion data, reporting, or spend efficiency.
- Disregard the need for a separate "Google Ads (Classic)" destination in the catalog.
- Rely on your existing Google Ads integrations, which will continue to function seamlessly. Segment's existing infrastructure is fully allowlisted and exempt from the June 15, 2026 cutoff because it uses a legacy developer token that actively processed data between October 2025 and March 2026.
Additional Information
- To align with Google's long-term roadmap, the transition to the Google Data Manager API is being incorporated directly into the existing Google integrations.
- Older endpoints scheduled for end-of-life (EOL) next year are being actively substituted on the backend to ensure zero downtime for your campaigns.
