Segment MTUs Do Not Reduce After Disabling a Source

Why haven't my MTUs reduced after I disabled or deleted a Source in Segment?

Answer

Any Monthly Tracked Users (MTUs) already counted earlier in the current usage period will still remain included in your monthly MTU total. Because of this, disabling a source or reducing event volume will mainly impact future MTUs going forward, rather than retroactively reducing usage that has already been processed this month.
