Viewing event payload structure in Segment Journeys V1 and V2

How can I view the event payload structure when configuring the "Send to Destination" step in Segment Journeys, and why is it different between Journey V1 and V2?

Answer

In Segment Journeys, the ability to view the event payload structure during the "Send to Destination" step is only available in Journey V2. Journey V1 does not display event details for mapping during configuration. To access and map event attributes, use Journey V2, which provides a detailed event structure view during setup.

 

Additional Information 

This is expected behavior. For enhanced event mapping and visibility, it is recommended to use Journey V2.
