Resolve the Audience limit reached error in Engage

Question

Why am I getting the "limit has reached" error while building an Audience in Engage? I am trying to build a new Audience but keep getting stopped by an error stating that the limit has been reached. Could you please advise why this is happening?

Answer

This error occurs because your workspace has reached the maximum Audience limit allowed by your current Engage plan. Depending on your specific tier, such as Engage Foundations or Engage Plus, workspaces are capped at a maximum of 100 active Audiences. This limit applies to all audiences in your space, including both manually built Audiences and Predictive Audiences.

You can review your audience use and limits in Settings -> Usage & Billing -> Engage.

To resolve this issue and start creating new Audiences again, you have two options:

  • Free up space: Review your current list of Audiences and delete any old, disabled, or unused ones from your workspace to make room for new ones.

  • Increase your limit: If your business needs require more than 100 active Audiences at a time, you can purchase a custom limit increase. To explore this option, please reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager.
