Missing Historical Data for Newly Enabled Salesforce Custom Properties

Question

Why are we not seeing historical data for a newly enabled Salesforce custom property?

Answer

When a new Object/Collection is enabled, we automatically do a full historical re-sync on that Object, so there's no further action needed to get the historical data for newly enabled Objects.

For custom properties/columns, we only populate that custom property with data that came in after the custom field was enabled. With that in mind, in order to populate the new custom field(s) for records that have previously been synced, a full re-sync has to be run either at the object level or the source level, depending on the customer's preference.
