Visual Tagger officially transitioned into maintenance mode on April 5, 2021. 

 

Because of this lifecycle status, its availability depends entirely on whether it was previously active:

  • For New Sources: It is completely unavailable to enable. Segment is no longer adding new features or functionality to Visual Tagger, and technical support for the tool is now limited. To ensure long-term data stability, we recommend using one of our modern event-tracking alternatives:

 

  • For Existing Sources: The tool remains active and functional only if it was enabled prior to April 5, 2021. If you need help maintaining your current setup or troubleshooting common pitfalls, please refer to our self-service Troubleshooting Guide here and FAQ here.
