Allowlisting Segment IP Addresses for Data Warehouses

Question

What are the specific IP addresses or IP ranges that Segment uses to send requests to a data warehouse?

Product

Twilio Segment

Environment

Segment Console

Answer

To enable secure system-to-system communication, you can allowlist Segment's IP addresses within your data warehouse's network rules. The specific IP ranges that Segment uses to send requests depend entirely on the region where your Segment workspace is hosted.
  • For workspaces hosted in the United States (US), please allowlist the following IP ranges: 52.25.130.38/32 and 34.223.203.0/28.
  • For workspaces hosted in Europe (EU), please allowlist the following IP range: 3.251.148.96/29.
Segment does not provide static or dedicated IP addresses for individual customers. Because Segment's infrastructure runs on AWS and uses a distributed pool of servers, these IP ranges are shared and apply universally to all customers within their respective hosting regions

Additional Information

These IP addresses apply universally to all Segment Data Warehouse connections, covering both traditional data warehouse storage destinations (like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift), Profiles Syncs and Reverse ETL sources.
