Multiple actions mappings triggered for a single event

Customers observe duplicate events sent to an actions destination when a single event was fired.

Cause

Duplicate events occurred because multiple destination event mappings were enabled for the same event, causing Segment to trigger more than one action per event.

Resolution

Review all event mappings in Segment. Disable or adjust overlapping mappings so that each event only triggers a single intended action.
