Answer

Engage will not allow you to connect an audience/computed trait to a destination that is already linked to a Connections-based source. Instead, create a new instance of the destination with the Engage space selected as the data source.

To create a new instance of a destination within an Engage space, follow these steps:

  1. In the Engage space, go to 'Engage Settings'.
  2. Go to the Destinations tab and click '+ Add Destination'.
  3. Select the destination from the catalogue. You can use the search bar at the top left to look for specific ones.
  4. Once the destination is selected, click 'Add Destination'
  5. On the Select Source screen, the correct source will be automatically selected, so you can click on 'Confirm Source'
  6. Configure the destination with the required parameters. You can clone destination settings by using the Copy Settings From Other Destination option.
  7. With the destination fully configured in the space, you can now add it to audiences and traits.
