Segment automatically consolidates all page() and screen() calls into the Page Viewed and Screen Viewed events shown in the Schema Events view. To track these events in a consistent way, add Page Viewed or Screen Viewed to your Tracking Plan and include any properties you want to validate. If you need to validate required properties for a specific named page or screen, for example analytics.page('Homepage') or analytics.screen('Home'), you must use a JSON Schema, as named pages and screens cannot be validated directly through the standard Tracking Plan interface.
