How to forward audit events to an event streams source in Segment?

You can send audit events from your workspace to an event stream source to set up real-time notifications and quickly revert unnecessary changes, for example, if a user accidentally disables a warehouse, which could impact downstream data flow.
To forward Audit Trail events to an event stream source:
- Navigate to Settings > Workspace Settings > Audit Forwarding.
- Select or create an event stream source to which you’ll forward workspace events.
- Toggle the setting to On and click Save Changes.
We recommend forwarding the events to a dedicated HTTP API source. Segment passes forwarded events through its full pipeline, allowing you to use Tracking Plans, Filters, and send data to multiple destinations.
