How to Integrate Twilio Flex With NICE Workforce Management

Objective 

NICE Workforce Management (WFM) is a robust workforce optimization platform that provides advanced forecasting, scheduling, and real-time adherence capabilities for contact centers. Integrating Twilio Flex with NICE WFM enables seamless data exchange between the two systems, empowering organizations to optimize staffing, improve agent productivity, and enhance operational visibility. This integration ensures the right agents are available at the right time and supports data-driven business decisions.

Procedure

To configure the NICE Workforce Management Integration in Flex:

  1. Access Flex as an Admin user. 
    • From the Twilio Console, select Flex > Launch Flex. The Admin page appears.
  2. Under Integrations, select Configure.
  3. On the NICE configuration card, select Configure.
  4. Under Configuration, edit the URL and click Apply.
  5. Under Status, use the toggle to enable the Real-Time Feed.

Prerequisites

  • You must upgrade your Flex project and select a paid pricing plan
  • You must have a NICE Workforce Management account.
  • You must contact Twilio Support to help enable the remaining parts of the integration.
    • RTA Feed: Enable access to the NICE Integration tile, so that it is available within the Flex → Admin → Integrations page mentioned below. 
    • Flex Insights historical reports: 
      • Enabling access for the NICE integration user (an email address created by you - work with your NICE representative for more details).
      • Enabling the NICE integration reports to your Flex Insights environment.
