Setup Twilio two-factor authentication (2FA) in Authy

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is security feature that requires you, the user, to provide two means of identification in order to access your project. For Twilio projects, this would include your standard login credentials (email address and password), as well as a randomized 6-digit verification code sent to your phone (via a call, SMS message, or a TOTP authentication app like Authy). This guide explains how to setup Twilio 2FA in Authy.

Notice: Aside from Authy, Twilio 2FA is supported on any authentication apps that comply with the TOTP standard. For help setting up Twilio 2FA in a different application, see Setup Twilio two-factor authentication (2FA) in a TOTP Authenticator app.

Setup 2FA in Authy

To Setup Twilio 2FA in Authy, you'll need to download and install the app, then enable TOTP Authenticator app as your primary authentication from your Twilio user and scan the QR code in your Authy App.

Once done - use the 6-digit code generated in your Authy app to login.
