Can I port my Skype or VoIP number?

Yes, you can port non-traditional or VoIP numbers, such as Skype numbers, to Twilio as long as they are 10-digit US numbers. Here’s how you can proceed:

  1. Documentation: If you do not have an official billing document, you can submit a screenshot of your account page that includes your username and the phone number(s) you wish to port.  Please provide screenshots that should be in PDF format only, as our console doesn't accept image format.
  2. Letter of Authorization (LOA): Ensure that the first and last name you provide on the LOA match the name in your account profile exactly.
  3. Porting Process: To begin porting your number, visit the Porting page in the Twilio Console and enter the necessary information regarding the numbers you'd like to port.

By following these steps, you can successfully port your Skype or VoIP numbers to Twilio.
