How do I port numbers into a subaccount?

To port numbers into a subaccount on Twilio, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Your Twilio Account: When you log in, you’ll see your most recent project by default.
  2. Navigate to the Subaccount: You’ll need to switch from your main account to the intended subaccount where you want to port the numbers to.
  3. Access the Porting Page: Once you are in the correct subaccount, go to the porting page to begin the porting process.

By following these steps, you can initiate the porting of phone numbers into a specific subaccount. If you need to transfer numbers between accounts or subaccounts, Twilio supports manual transfers of long code and short code phone numbers between accounts and their subaccounts or between two subaccounts under the same account. However, for hosted SMS phone numbers, you will need to contact the Porting Team by emailing porting@twilio.com
