A2P 10DLC Campaign Vetting Delays: Twilio cannot approve 10DLC Campaigns ourselves, and must rely on third parties who control our connections to carriers to sign off. These external processes are creating several week delays for our customers. We continue to escalate these issues and are working to reduce delays wherever possible. Further details will be shared in the Campaign Vetting Changes article as they become available.

Can I get a local Twilio number in my area code?

To see if we're able to provide a local number in your area, you can search our inventory on our phone number page or you can can use our API to search our current inventory.

To learn more about Twilio's phone number offering world wide, please visit our FAQ on phone number availability and capabilities.

If you are looking for a specific US-based area code that isn't available directly through Twilio, we recommend that you buy it from another carrier and port it over to us; however, we are not able to port numbers into Twilio outside the US at this time. There are a few restrictions on what can be ported. See our Porting FAQ for more details.
