Before we begin
Due to regulatory requirements, there is sometimes a need for documents to be signed by customers to ensure that registrations are done on behalf of customers that have the right to use the Sender ID. This serves to ensure that traffic is coming from legitimate sources and minimizes any potential misuse.
This article outlines the documentation requirements for a pre-registration in Qatar.
Things to note
- The sender ID name must be relevant to the company name or represent a brand or product of that company. Please provide us with a a clear ownership of the brand name.
- Please note that the local operators have strict rules regarding the documentation, any signature and stamp that appear to be copy-pasted will be automatically rejected.
- For the purpose of execution of the documents, please choose either one of the following options:
- Wet signature. Please print and then attest the wet signature together with the name of the Authorized Person. If this option is chosen, kindly confirm with us via email when forwarding the signed copy that the person who signed the Form is the Authorized Person as approved by the company and the signature is not copy and pasted signature.
- DocuSign. If this option is chosen, please do share with us the Certificate of Completion Summary so the operators can check the validity of the signature.
- Other signature licensed platform besides DocuSign. If this option is chosen, please do share with us the supporting document such as summary, signing completion certificate, audit report, audit trail, or email acknowledgement (whichever is applicable depending on the platform chosen).
