How to Unregister an Emergency Address from a Twilio Phone Number

Users can unregister an emergency address from their Twilio number via Console or API. You can find our documentation for how to unregister via API here. This guide walks you through how to unregister the emergency address via Console.

Note: All emergency calls will still be routed. For US and CA numbers, if no emergency address is provided for your number,  you will be charged $75.00 per 911 call for the call to be routed to a national emergency location center.

  1. Access the Active Numbers page in Console
  2. Click the desired phone number you wish to unregister your emergency address for.
  3. Under the Voice & Fax section click Remove Emergency Address
