In our Voice Conference, we get a regions mismatch. Could you explain why? The SIP calls end up routing to US regions, even though our SIP domain is set to IE.

This region mismatch occurs when a call is sent to Twilio's global default SIP domain (e.g., [domain].sip.twilio.com) rather than the localized regional domain. By default, any SIP URIs formatted as *.sip.twilio.com without a specific region prefix will automatically route through Twilio's primary North American region (us1).
To resolve this and ensure your calls route through your intended region, you need to update the destination URI in your originating PBX or SIP equipment to include the appropriate localized subdomain. For example, to route through Ireland, your equipment should send the call to [domain].sip.ie1.twilio.com.

Ensure your SIP infrastructure uses the explicitly defined regional URI to prevent unexpected audio latency or region mismatches when bridging participants into a Voice Conference.
