How do I find a push notification sent with the Communication APIs?

Objective

This article helps you search the push notifications your account has sent through the Communication APIs across all operations, so you can locate a specific notification by operation, date, or provider.

Product

Communication APIs

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the Communication APIs Push Notifications page.
  3. Review the table. Each row shows the notification ID, Status, From, To, App Name, Scheduled For, and Created At.
  4. To narrow the list, use the filters above the table:
  5. Operation ID — enter part of an operation ID to see only the notifications from that operation.
  6. Date Range — set a start date and an end date.
  7. Provider — choose Apple Push Notification or Firebase Cloud Messaging.
  8. Select Apply in each filter to apply it.
  9. Select Next below the table to move to the next page of notifications.
  10. Select a notification ID to open its details.

Additional Information

  • Provider accepts one value at a time.
  • Push notification statuses are Scheduled, Queued, Sent, Failed, and Canceled.
  • The To column shows the device token the notification was addressed to; the From column shows the Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notification sender.
  • If you have not sent any push notifications yet, the page shows No push notifications yet. If your filters exclude everything, it shows No results found — try adjusting your filters.
