How do I find a message sent with the Communication APIs?

Objective

This article helps you search the messages your account has sent through the Communication APIs across all operations, so you can locate a specific message by operation, session, date, status, or channel.

Product

Communication APIs

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the Communication APIs Messages page.
  3. Review the table. Each row shows the message ID, Status, From, Scheduled For, and Created At.
  4. To narrow the list, use the filters above the table:
  5. Operation ID — enter part of an operation ID to see only the messages from that operation.
  6. Session ID — enter part of a session ID.
  7. Date Range — set a start date and an end date.
  8. Status — choose one message status.
  9. Channel — choose SMS, RCS, or WhatsApp.
  10. Select Apply in each filter to apply it.
  11. Select a message ID to open that message's details.

Additional Information

  • Status and Channel each accept one value at a time.
  • Message statuses are Queued, Scheduled, Sent, Delivered, Read, Undelivered, Failed, Canceled, Group, and Inbound.
  • If you have not sent any messages yet, the page shows No messages yet. If your filters exclude everything, it shows No results found — try adjusting your filters.
  • Messages that are not scheduled show - in the Scheduled For column.
