How do I review the individual emails sent in an operation?

Objective

This article helps you inspect the per-recipient results inside an email operation and read the content of any single email, so you can find failed sends and confirm what each recipient received.

Product

Communication APIs

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the Communication APIs Operations page and select the Emails tab.
  3. Select the operation you want to inspect.
  4. Scroll to the Communication emails section. Each row shows the email ID, Status, and Body.
  5. To narrow the list, select Status above the table, choose a status, then select Apply.
  6. To find one email, enter its ID in the search box above the table.
  7. Select Next below the table to move to the next page of emails.
  8. To read an email, select the icon in its Body column. The Email Details panel opens with that email's content. Select Close side modal to return.

Additional Information

  • Email statuses are Queued, Scheduled, Sent, Delivered, Opened, Undelivered, Failed, Canceled, and Inbound.
  • The table lists 10 emails per page.
  • If the content cannot be retrieved, the panel shows Email not available and explains that the email details could not be loaded or do not exist.
  • If nothing matches your filters, the table shows No results found — try adjusting your search or filters.
