Objective
This article explains what you see in the Twilio Console once your 30-day trial has ended, and what your options are so you can carry on building.
Product
Twilio Console
Environment
Twilio Console
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Home in the left sidebar.
- If your trial period has finished, Your 30-day trial has ended appears as soon as your account home loads. You cannot continue testing until you choose one of the two options.
- Select Upgrade to add funds and move to pay as you go. You are taken to the upgrade page, and afterwards you keep the same account, phone numbers, and configuration.
- Or select Not now, log out to sign out and come back later.
Additional Information
- The trial ends after 30 days regardless of how much of your free allowance you used, so you may see this even with free units remaining.
- Upgrading to pay as you go removes the trial restrictions: you can buy your own phone number, message any recipient rather than only verified ones, and send internationally.
- If you upgrade, your existing trial work carries over — verified recipients, saved webhooks, and setup guide progress all stay in place.
- If you cannot start a trial at all, see "Why can't I start a Twilio trial?".
