How do I check my Twilio Health Score for Messaging?

Objective

This article shows you where to find your Twilio Health Score for Messaging in the Twilio Console, and how to read the score, its status and its week-over-week trend, so you can tell at a glance whether your messaging traffic is healthy.

Product

Programmable Messaging

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Messaging, then Insights.
  3. Select the Overview tab.
  4. Review the Twilio Health Score for Messaging card at the top of the page. The dial shows your current score out of 100, and a status badge next to it summarises that score (for example, Good).
  5. Under the score, read the evaluation period (Last 7 days, with the exact dates) and the trend, which tells you how much the score moved from prior period. When there is no comparable earlier score, the card shows No data from prior period; when the score is unchanged, it shows No change from prior period.
  6. Select Learn more on the card for an explanation of how the score is calculated and what each status means.

Additional Information

  • The score is calculated over the last 7 days of traffic and refreshes as new messages are sent.
  • If your account has not sent enough messages, the dial shows No data and the card reads "Your Twilio Health Score for Messaging is not available", with a prompt to Start sending messages to generate data. No status badge is shown in this state.
  • The five categories that make up the overall score — Sent rate, Compliance, Fraud, Latency and Engagement — are shown just below the score card. See "How do I find the top issues affecting my messaging health score?".
  • To have the score emailed to you every week, see "How do I get weekly email notifications for my Twilio Health Score for Messaging?".
