Objective
This article shows you how to open one email from your logs and read its full event history, so you can see exactly what happened to that message: when it was processed, delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, or dropped, and which IP address sent it.

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
You need a role with permission to read email logs. Without it, Logs does not appear under Email in the sidebar.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Email, then Logs.
- Find the message you want and select its message ID.
- On the Email Details page, read the Message Details section, which shows Message ID, To, Account, Subject, From, and Sending IP Address.
- Scroll to Event History to see the events recorded for the message, each with its Last Event Time.
- To change the time zone the timestamps are displayed in, select Add filters, choose Timezone, pick a zone, and apply it.
- Select View Details on an event row to open a panel with the full detail for that single event.
Additional Information
- Events of the same type are grouped together in the history. The View Details action appears on a row when it represents a single event rather than a group.
- If a detail cannot be retrieved, the field shows a short message saying so rather than leaving the value blank.
