1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
2. Select Messaging, then Templates.
3. Select Create new template.
4. Enter a Template name and select a Template language.
5. Under Content type, select Media, then select Continue.
6. In the Media section, enter the publicly reachable address of your file in Media URL.
7. Enter the accompanying message text in Body.
8. Select Save.

• Media URL supports images, audio, documents, and video, and accepts up to 1600 characters.
• The address must be a valid URL with no white space. You can include at most one variable in the address, and it cannot be placed in the host name portion.
• Media templates are eligible for SMS, MMS, RCS, Facebook Messenger, Apple Messages for Business, and WhatsApp. WhatsApp business-initiated sends require approval first.
