Objective
This article shows you how to paste a SID you already have — an account SID, or the SID of a resource such as a service or a phone number — into Twilio Console search and go straight to the page for it, instead of hunting through lists.

Twilio Console
Environment
Twilio Console
Procedure
- Open search from the top bar by selecting the magnifying glass Search control, or press Cmd + K on a Mac or Ctrl + K on Windows and Linux. (When the left sidebar is expanded, the search control appears at the top of the sidebar.)
- Paste the SID into the search box.
- The panel recognises the identifier and offers a single matching result rather than a list of pages:
- For an account SID, the result reads Account home: followed by the SID.
- For another resource, the result is named after that resource, with the navigation path to it shown underneath.
- Select the result, or press Enter, to open it. An account SID takes you to that account's home page; a resource takes you to that resource's page, or to the list it belongs to.
Additional Information
- Paste the full SID. A partial identifier is treated as ordinary text and searched against page names and documentation instead.
- If the identifier cannot be resolved, the search box explains why — for example Could not load search results for this resource — and you can search by name instead.
