How do I view my webhook settings and URL rules?

Objective

This article shows you where to find your outgoing webhook configuration in the Twilio Console, so you can see which URL rules are in place, which webhook setting each rule uses, and how each setting authenticates and connects.

Product

Twilio Console

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, open Webhook configuration.
  2. Select the Webhook URL rules tab to see your rules. Each row shows the Rule ID, Priority, Filter, Webhook setting, and Traffic %.
  3. Use Search by Rule ID or URL filter to narrow the list, or filter by Webhook setting to see only the rules attached to a particular setting. Sort by Priority to see the order rules are evaluated in.
  4. Select the Webhook settings list tab to see your settings. Each row shows the Setting ID, Name, Authentication method, Signature method, and Number of URL rules using.
  5. Use Search by Setting ID or name to narrow the list, or filter by Authentication method and Signature method.
  6. Select a setting's Name to open its details, which show its Authentication properties, Connection properties, and Signature validation properties.

Additional Information

  • If you have not configured anything yet, the page shows Get started with webhook configuration with a Configure a webhook button instead of the two tabs.
  • The Number of URL rules using column tells you how many rules depend on a setting. A setting that is still in use by at least one rule cannot be deleted.
