Your user needs the content templates create permission for the account.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Messaging, then Templates.
- Select Create new template.
- Enter a Template name and select a Template language.
- Under Content type, select WhatsApp authentication, then select Continue.
- In the WhatsApp authentication section, review the defaults. Add security recommendation is selected, and Copy code text is already set to
Copy Code. - To tell recipients how long the code stays valid, select Show code expiration time in footer and enter a whole number in Code expiration time (minutes).
- Select Save.
