How do I stop capturing traffic from a sender?

Objective

This article helps you remove a phone number or sender from a Conversation configuration so its messages and calls are no longer captured into conversations, either for one channel or for every channel it is used on.

Product

Conversation Orchestrator

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Orchestration in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Conversation Orchestrator, then Conversation configurations.
  3. Select the name of the configuration you want to change.
  4. Select the Channel Traffic tab.
  5. In the Automatically captured traffic table, find the sender you want to stop capturing and open its row action.
  6. Select Remove. When the sender captures traffic on more than one channel, the action reads Remove for all channels instead.
  7. In the Remove this sender? dialog, confirm by selecting Remove sender, or select Cancel to keep the sender.
  8. A confirmation message reads Sender removed. and the sender disappears from the table.

Additional Information

Removing a sender only stops new traffic from being captured into this configuration. Conversations that were already created remain as they are. If the sender is used for several channels, removing it takes it off all of them at once.
