How do I delete a knowledge source?

Objective

This article shows you how to permanently remove a knowledge source from a knowledge base, for example when the content is out of date or you need room to add a different source.

Product

Enterprise Knowledge

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Enterprise Knowledge, then Knowledge bases.
  3. Select the knowledge base that contains the source.
  4. Open the menu at the end of the source's row and select Delete Source.
  5. In the Delete knowledge source? dialog, read the warning that the source will be permanently deleted everywhere it is being used and that the action cannot be undone.
  6. Confirm the deletion.
  7. A confirmation appears and the source is removed from the table.

Additional Information

  • Deleting a source removes it everywhere it is being used, and you cannot undo it.
  • Delete Source is unavailable while the source is being processed. Wait until it finishes and try again.
  • A knowledge base holds up to 10 sources, so deleting one frees a slot for a new source.
