How do I check recent Debugger events in the Workbench?

Objective

Watch your account's recent errors and warnings while you work on something else in the Console, so you can tell straight away whether a change you just made caused a problem.

Product

Twilio Console

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Viewing Debugger events requires a role with Debugger access. Without it, the tab shows "Debugger events are restricted." along with "Debugger access isn't included with your role. Reach out to an account admin if you need it."

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, open any page in one of your accounts.
  2. Select the tab at the bottom center of the window to expand the Workbench panel.
  3. Select the Debugger tab. It shows Debugger events with a timeline chart and a list of recent events.
  4. Use the time range selector to choose the period to show: Last hour, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, or Last 30 days.
  5. Select the refresh control to pull in the newest events.
  6. Select any event in the list to open its details.
  7. Select Open Debugger to go to the full Debugger page, or View all logs at the bottom of the list to see the complete list of events.

Additional Information

  • The event count next to the chart is the total for the selected time range, so you can see at a glance whether error volume is rising.
  • When there is nothing to show for the selected period, the tab shows "No logs found." Try a longer time range.
  • If the events cannot be loaded, the tab shows "Couldn't load debugger events" with a retry option.
