Objective
See which of your alarms have fired recently and which alarms are configured, without leaving the page you are working on.
Product
Twilio Console
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Viewing alarms requires a role with permission to view alarm logs and alarm configurations. Without it, the tab reports "You don't have permission to view Alarm Logs" or "You don't have permission to view Alarm Configs", with the note "Contact an account administrator to update your role's permissions."
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, open any page in one of your accounts.
- Select the tab at the bottom center of the window to expand the Workbench panel.
- Select the Alarms tab.
- Select Alarm logs to see alarms that have recently fired, or Manage alarms to see the alarms configured on the account.
- Select any row to open that alarm's details.
- Select the link at the end of the sub-tab row to open the full page: View all alarm logs from Alarm logs, or Manage all alarms from Manage alarms.
Additional Information
- When the account has no alarms and none have fired, the tab shows a single message instead of the two sub-tabs: "No alarms found for this account."
- If the data cannot be loaded, the tab shows "Couldn't load alarm logs" or "Couldn't load alarm configs" with a retry option.
- Creating, editing, and deleting alarms is done on the full Alarms page rather than in the panel.
