Objective
This article helps you find every address in your account that Conversations (classic) can use, phone numbers, short codes, and channel senders, and narrow the list down so you can see which ones already autocreate conversations and how each is integrated.
Product
Twilio Conversations
Environment
Twilio Console
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Conversations (classic), then Addresses.
- The Configure addresses table lists each Address, its Channel, whether Autocreation is enabled or disabled, and its Integration.
- To find a specific address, type at least 2 characters in Search by address name or number.
- To narrow the list, use the Channel, Autocreation, and Integration filters. Select Clear all to reset the search and every filter at once.
- Select Edit on a row to open that address and change its configuration.
- To buy or manage the underlying numbers and senders themselves, select Manage addresses, which takes you to your senders inventory.
Additional Information
- The list combines several sources, phone numbers, short codes, and WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and RCS senders, so an address appears here as soon as it exists in your account, whether or not it has a Conversations configuration yet.
- The Integration column shows how autocreated conversations are handled: Default, Webhook with its URL, Studio or Studio 2.0 with the flow SID, or a dash when none is set.
- Autocreation means Twilio creates conversations for you when it receives messages that do not belong in an existing conversation.
- If no rows match, the page shows No addresses found and suggests a different search term or filters. If a search or filter is not active and the list is genuinely empty, it shows No addresses.
- If the list cannot be loaded at all, the page shows Unable to load addresses and asks you to reload the page.
