How do I delete a knowledge base?

Objective

This article shows you how to permanently remove a knowledge base from your account, for example when the content is no longer needed or you need room to create a different knowledge base.

Product

Enterprise Knowledge

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Data in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Enterprise Knowledge, then Knowledge bases.
  3. Find the knowledge base you want to remove and open the menu at the end of its row.
  4. Select Delete Base.
  5. In the Delete knowledge base? dialog, read the warning that the base will be permanently deleted everywhere it is being used and that the action cannot be undone.
  6. Confirm the deletion.
  7. A confirmation appears and the knowledge base moves to the Deleting status while it is removed.

Additional Information

  • Deleting a knowledge base removes it everywhere it is being used, and you cannot undo it.
  • While the knowledge base shows Deleting, use the refresh control in its row to check whether removal has finished.
  • You can have up to 5 knowledge bases on an account, so deleting one frees a slot for a new one.
