How do I view the details of a call recording configuration?

Objective

This article explains how to open a recording configuration and read back its settings, so you can confirm exactly how calls and conferences using it will be recorded and where their status callbacks are sent.

Product

Programmable Voice

Environment

Twilio Console

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Recordings.
  3. Select the Configurations tab, then Recording.
  4. Select the name of the configuration you want to review. The page title shows the configuration name.
  5. The Name configuration tab shows Recording configuration name, Description, and SID.
  6. Select the Composition policy tab to see Channel, Trim silence, and Track.
  7. Select the Callback settings tab to see the Call recording callback status and Conference recording callback status sections, each with its URL, HTTP method, and Events.

Additional Information

  • Each tab has its own Edit action so you can change just that section.
  • Delete recording configuration appears in the page header.
  • Accounts that are not set up for PCI, HIPAA, recording encryption, or external recording storage also see an Additional features section listing any batch transcription configurations attached to this recording configuration.
