How do I check the status of my voice log archive jobs?

Objective

This article explains where to see the export jobs you have requested for your voice logs and how to tell whether each one has finished, so you know when the resulting files are ready to collect.

Product

Programmable Voice

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your user role must allow reading Voice settings.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Settings.
  3. Select Log archives. The page opens on Custom jobs.
  4. The Past Jobs table shows the columns Friendly name & SID, Start date, End date, and Status. A completed job shows Completed; one that did not finish shows Failed.
  5. Select the Calls, Conferences, or Conference participants tab to see the jobs for that record type.

Additional Information

  • If you have not requested any exports for the selected record type, the page shows "No past jobs" with the message "This account has not created any custom jobs. After custom jobs are generated, your jobs will show up here."
  • Custom jobs cannot be deleted once created.
  • Generating files may take several hours, so a job can sit unfinished for a while after you request it.
  • Log archives are available only in the United States (US1) region.
