Objective
This article helps you look up which SIP endpoints are currently registered under a username on your SIP domain, and inspect the registration details for one of them when troubleshooting.
Product
Programmable Voice
Environment
Twilio Console
User Account Permission/Role(s) Required
Your user must have permission to read Voice SIP domains on the account.
Procedure
- In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
- Select Voice, then SIP domains.
- Select the friendly name of the domain you want to inspect.
- Select the Registered endpoints tab.
- Type a username into the search box. The box is pre-filled with a hint in the form of a search address at your domain.
- Matching registrations appear in a table with Display Name, User agent, Contact, Expires At, and Actions columns.
- Select View details on a row to open Registered endpoint details, which shows Display Name, Contact, User Agent, CSEQ, Call ID, Path, Edge, and Via.
- Select Close to return to the results.
Additional Information
- The page description reads "Search for a Username to see all Registered SIP Endpoints associated with that Username." Until you search, the page shows a Search for a username prompt rather than a table.
- Usernames must contain only letters, numbers, or the permitted special characters. Entering something else, for example a username with a hash character, shows a validation message and returns no results.
- If SIP registration is turned off for the domain, this tab shows SIP registration is disabled with a link back to Details, and no search box. Enable SIP registration on the Details tab first.
