How do I download my voice log archive files?

Objective

This article explains how to find the JSON archive files produced by your custom jobs and daily exports, and how to download one or copy its link so you can retrieve it from elsewhere.

Product

Programmable Voice

Environment

Twilio Console

User Account Permission/Role(s) Required

Your user role must allow reading Voice settings.

Procedure

  1. In the Twilio Console, select Communications in the left sidebar.
  2. Select Voice, then Settings.
  3. Select Log archives, then Files.
  4. Select the Calls, Conferences, or Conference participants tab for the record type you want. Calls is selected by default.
  5. The Files table lists each archive with its Friendly name, Date range, Size, and Actions.
  6. In the row for the file you want, select Download to retrieve the file, or Copy Link to copy its download link to your clipboard.

Additional Information

  • If no files have been produced yet, the page shows "No files" with the message "This account has not created any bulk export jobs. After a custom job or daily export is generated, your files will show up here."
  • Download is unavailable for a row whose file is not yet ready.
  • Files are removed automatically after seven days, so download what you need promptly.
  • Files appear here only as a result of a custom job or a daily export.
  • Log archives are available only in the United States (US1) region.
